Let There Be White

I have had a crush on the color white since I began decorating my own places. When I would see a display room entirely decked out in all white it would literally make me gasp. I love that white can be so simplistic and constantly look so fresh. Over the last year I have kept articles and cut out pictures of what I want the rooms in my house to look like. So now my shoebox of ideas is over flowing which isn't all bad but now I'm recognizing that all of my cut-out pictures have a common detail.  Yes, each and every one has some piece of white in it! Recently I've been getting bolder with the consideration of bringing larger pieces of white into my home when I know the practicality of it is uncertain because three dogs live in this house. But fortunately for me and the dogs I'm thinking that its going to have to happen. I'm thinking I'm going to need to have white everywhere... master bedroom, living room, guest room, my couches, pillows, bedding, mirrors and maybe even my dog's bedding. However, I am aware that as soon as my boyfriend figures out what I'm up too he'll try to discuss other color options but most of the time his other option ideas get sweetly declined and pushed towards a man cave on the complete opposite side of the house. Even then, though, I'll still have a hand in decorating that room too.
